Guru Rinpoche Day's Message (22nd October 2015)
Dear Friends Near and Far,
Happy Guru Rinpoche Day. I am back again to remind all of my dharma brothers, sisters, and friends that life is short and sometimes challenging, so please don’t forget to be joyful. Don’t forget to take care of yourself. Don’t waste your time. And most important thing is to practice dharma.
We all make excuses. The excuses are not made for anyone else, they are made for yourself. When you are not able to come to teachings, retreat, or practice, don’t say sorry to the teacher. Because it is sorry that you were not able to come. So it is very important to see how valuable is our life and time. Don’t forget what our old masters teach. We always receive teachings and we love to receive teachings. We are very lucky to receive teachings. But when we forget to practice, it is very unlucky and unfortunate.
I just want to send you a short reminding message on Guru Rinpoche Day to practice, be happy, take care of your family, take care of your friends, take care of your dharma brothers and sisters, and take care of people in need. Ok?
I am happy to announce this month’s video message has subtitles in English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Spanish, German, and Portuguese. Please click CC in the bottom right corner of the video to access these options.
Sending you much, much love.
